Locally Customized “e-Zine” Online Magazine

GSC created an online virtual magazine that could be fully personalized by each local affiliate, using a simple control panel . This "Web e-Zine" employs page-flip effects controlled intuitively by the reader’s mouse, a "riffling front page" that invites the reader to open the catalogue, plus click-to-buy for any item or coupon. The resulting Clickthrough and viewership rates are more than double typical industry levels.

Challenge: 

This franchise network with 200 local affiliates, each with varying inventory and coupons, needed a different monthly promotional magazine for each local affiliate.

Online In-Banner Registration and Enrollment

GSC developed a Flash-based banner that not only incorporated full motion and a multi-part message, but also encompassed complete enrollment functions, with a two-month Calendar, zipcode tables, and full input field logic. Astonishingly, all of these features were incorporated into the banner within an opening size limitation of 40 kilobytes.

All-In-One-View Industrial "Product Finder"

A homepage Product Finder enabling prospects to choose any of these six methods of search without clicking through long menus—indeed all menuing to search by voltage, current, power, application, or product series was encompassed directly on the homepage. The user is always only one click from viewing the exact product of interest.

Challenge: 

This manufacturer of industrial power supplies knew that prospective customers might choose a product by any of five key specifications. Yet use of this B-to-B website had to be fast and intuitive.

Independent Hotel Website and Search Optimization Campaign

When this New England hotel chose to rebrand itself as an independent, GSC developed a full corporate identity and positioning,
presenting it as a unique hospitality venue based on its soaring architecture and all-suite design. But just as challenging was the need to overcome franchise-hotel search-engine dominance: GSC develop low-cost natural-search methods of pushing the hotel’s website to the top of hospitality listings.
